The 7 Words System is defined by the idea that in all the complexity of human associations, there are only seven core gestures of communication; they are expressed by the 7 primary words and accessed by 28 keywords.
These 7 archetypes of expression are the essential themes within all relations—they show the necessary stages that healthy exchanges go through because they are the foundation of all of our thoughts, ideas and behaviours. By deepening our understanding of these fundamentals, we can come to clarity, truth and completion in all our dealings.
The 7 words can develop in us a mastery of communication that enables us to focus our minds, to speak truth, and to enjoy a depth of intimate relationships. Soon we find ourselves being more effective in daily life, as we come to experience a real sense of what is happening and what is needed in any situation. This is true of so many aspects of life—from self-awareness to business efficiency, from career guidance to client counselling—because the system is universal.
Words have been so badly misused that confusion has resulted, and out of it has come misunderstanding and even chaos. Very often misinterpretation and even dishonesty clouds our thinking and so much of the meaning of what is said between even the closest of friends is bent and distorted. Thus we are deceived individually and communally and we remain unclear in the absence of a tool to identify the muddle. Without sufficient clarity, then we lack will; we can become isolated within the failures of our private lives and so often lose hope of bringing our greater visions into being.
This work presents a system of ideas that explains a very simple model of the basic principles of life. It is a new way to look at everything—what we do, how we think and what we believe in. It is about how we focus the mind.
The idea is that these 7 words are basic—and that by deepening our understanding of these fundamentals, we can come to a much better sense of who we are, what needs to be done and how to make the right moves.
