Theosophist Alice Bailey brings our focus to study how Neptune operates through personality. The fundamental illusion most people suffer has to do with two aspects of belief.
The first thing to challenge is the belief that things are as they seem. In fact all is illusion.
The second is to do with self-importance. Some think they have great importance others think they have no importance. Both are simultaneously wrong and right. All is illusion, and life is paradox.
When we expose to ourselves the hoax that we present to others, we begin to become free of its entrancing imprisoning power, we cannot know Truth because all is subjective, yet we can steadily rid ourselves of untruth as we see through more of life's illusion.
Disillusionment is that which frees us from illusion – which we inevitably experience upon death, if not before.
