This universal idea is best expressed through planets in
Taurus 6 (5°- 6°)OVERCOMING
Finding a way to end separation and form group consciousness "Building bridges to end separation" Following a catastrophic setback it can feel like the Earth has opened up to swallow us. The best way to counteract the sense of separation and desolation is to engage in a challenging community project that gives substantial proof of our involvement and importance in life.

We optimise achievement by opening up to a higher power
The gorge is a natural obstacle and is a challenge that requires real focus to conquer. The spirit of conquest is an inherent aspect of humanity’s evolutionary curiosity that has taken us to the Moon and beyond. In essence, we are able to become free from much of the inconvenience of physical life through a refusal to be defeated, and finding the application it requires to prevail. If instead, we look for shortcuts, then the ultimate purpose is lost. We may arrive sooner – yet we will be poorer, deprived of the wealth of the experience, and the rewards from its tougher lessons. It is foolish to believe that obstacles are bad things to be quickly dealt with. They are indicators of imperfections in our condition, also lessons and training exercises for the developing seeker. Those who always seek the easy way to avoid challenges inevitably cannot be trusted to back up their word. They have little to give of value that can be relied upon. To be master of our circumstances we have to learn mastery, and this is possible only when we face and overcome challenges. Transform physical limitationsHeroic types apply the depth and breadth of their conscious abilities and qualities to transform physical limitation into personal or social assets. They refuse to be defeated and insist on seeing through their intentions by force of will. Strong clear will can resolve an impasse.
There is a mystery in this – the secret of channelling – that when we apply ourselves completely to a task, we are assisted as if by, and perhaps even actually by, external subtle forces. Some call these angels or spirit guides, some see them as aspects of the superconscious facet of the psyche. Whatever they are called or understood to be, they need to be invoked in order to become useful. We have humbly to acknowledge that sometimes we depend upon such agencies in order for the best of our inner qualities to emerge into life, especially as we deal with adversity. The ego has its own purposes and advantages but sometimes we need to let go of it in order to break through to higher dimensions of life, within which we can achieve otherwise impossible outcomes. By opening up to a higher power – whether we see that as within or without – we further optimize human intelligence, and we benefit directly in the development of practical instinct. By this we obtain real benefit from the employment of our previously-latent capabilities. |
A bridge being built across a gorge
Commentary from Mara
A bridge across a gorge or a synapse between neurons. Each connection we make, allows for more connections to be made. The stronger it is the more it will hold. When many are faced with the same lack of connection, a forming of community allows the coming together of knowledge that one alone does not hold. This in turn produces results one alone would not achieve. |
