Whether we focus on the more scientific or the more religious explanations is not our major concern - guardian angels or unseen dimensions of the personal psyche - what matters is that we find the strength to cope, and grow, though the dark periods.

We feel secure when holding alive the certainty that angels are protecting us
There is a quality of power within human character, which becomes the hallmark of our spiritual station. This is often evidenced by self-confidence, charisma and clarity, and acts upon the outer world with considerable success. It is that which draws resources and people towards us so we that can facilitate the simple and consistent convergence of all good things to impact upon our circumstances. This is of course the function of power – to harness together all we need to effect changes that support our idea of what is good for us. The principle illustrates how our high-mindedness pays very pleasant dividends. Development of spirituality has a worldly aspect. To say that you will get your rewards in heaven is a false reading that demonstrates an inadequate understanding of what heaven means, and the immediacy of cause and effect. This symbol shows of the certainty of conviction we can acquire, enabling fulfilment of dreams. We are secure, and we feel secure, holding alive the certainty that angels are protecting our best interests. The word angel is not well understood. It is perhaps better to refer to this aspect of the human psyche as part of the super-conscious. We always move to sustain the soul’s outreach – so we live out eternal values in our lives, and reap the rewards of our relationship with angelic forces – whatever we imagine them to be. Any vain pretence will diminish the effectiveness of these forces, self-importance shows in both our inability to trust, and our ignorance of what angels are. Basically, there are traditional legions of heavenly forces ready to be called upon. Few people learn how to call them up, or get confused about the appropriate means of interacting with them. It is simple enough – we must believe in them as higher aspects of ourselves, and that they respond to our appeal. Yet they need to be summoned in order to operate, so we have to know how to pray. |

When we learn to disregard the quaint, folksy images of angels and actually try to feel the gravitas of their stupendous form and atmosphere, then we can invoke their strength. Knowing how to call the angels gives us the strength to have angelic influence over our situations and other people, who might need to be reassured. It guarantees our protection and likelihood of finding peace and joy. It also binds us into higher dimensions so that we can clearly feel the connectedness of all things as a self-evident truth. Angels are light-structure with self-awareness and qualities. To call their name is to attract their presence, to speak their name through music, prayer and dance is to become as they are. Be confident. Faith is an energy-form that attracts the angelic realm closer, so have faith in them. In return they offer to serve our needs and desires, they anchor our stability and our visions, they bring out the best in us. |
