Stabilisation

The workings of human emotions are mysterious, unpredictable and sometimes overwhelming

Oceans are powerful images that help us comprehend the mysterious workings of human emotions. They are unpredictable, overwhelming at times, unceasingly changing – and almost uncontainable. Yet the massive rocky shore does contain them, as indeed does the essential reliability of physicality contain our feelings and bring the comfort of certainty.

Lacking such certainty, we would incline towards blind conservatism – clinging to the past, eyes tightly clenched, desperately hoping that at least things will get no worse.

Life requires us to maintain constant vigilance throughout eternity so that we are staunch to our heart-felt values. We reaffirm a path of happiness, trusting that this, our optimistic approach to the uncertainties contained within the future, will steer us true.

We know that the extent to which we may legitimately trust the future is measured by our ability to bring stability to situations. Such stabilisation requires that inwardly we control our feelings and cultivate poise. This requires – and therefore develops – great firmness of personality.

External circumstances can be managed with aplomb when we have learned to centre our sense of reality inwardly. It is we ourselves who must be stabilised – all depends on this.

Then, however dynamic we choose to be in the world, life will respond to us with its characteristic physical reliability. The inner poise of spirit becomes reflected in the dependability of matter.

We come to experience in life whatever we are within. Strangely, and yet unfailingly, we find the possibility of personal exaltation within this. It matters not whether we have joy, as long as we have ourselves – the joy comes from the integrity of the reflection itself. If life is a mirror of what is within us, then we are in control. If things get too difficult, then we must exert prodigious effort to strengthen our will and certainly reclaim the all-important feeling of stability.

A massive rocky shore:  Dense 3D energies. All the beliefs that we carry subconsciously into this lifetime from previous lifetimes. Beliefs and fears that come from family, ancestral lines, etc.  Although the massive rocky shore is strong it cannot withstand change. We resist because we fear change. We fear the unknown. The pounding sea: The universe, spirit, trying to wake us up to something we need to learn to change in our lives. It’s telling us change is occurring whether we like it or not. We become stagnant when we hold on to things for too long that no longer serve us.
 
I feel most souls are born with the massive rocky shore energies. At first, we tend to accept them as who we are. The pounding of the sea may first be perceived as an emotional assault by unknown forces that we cannot control. We can try to resist them or we can open up to hear what is being given to us to grow. Free ourselves from the past. To go with the rhythm of the universe and transform into a beautiful beach. I feel this energy is an opportunity to dissolve past blocks and transcend. Scorpio 5 is a more turbulent energy. Being guided by spirit but you have to have a deeper trust in your intuition. On the flip side, missing opportunities. Becoming stuck in a cycle. Stagnation

The scope of Scorpio 5 is "Realising that stability creates greater freedom", and its means of expansion is Aries 9, "Sensitive, visionary concentration of attention". Its preferred path, Virgo 13, "Claiming our rightful influence", leads to its principle challenge, found in Aquarius 17, "Protecting ourselves from others".

Awareness of its spiritual purpose is described in Cancer 22, "Withstanding the poignancy of dreaming's uncertainty", which generates the feedback found in Sagittarius 26, "Losing ourselves within the ideal" and thus the evolutionary gateway offered by Taurus 30, "Embellishing our life expression".
